Challenge Scrap around the world

Scrap around the world heeft een dusdanig gaaf moodboard deze maand, daar moest ik nog een LO van maken! Ik ben dol op kleuren, bloemen en vlinders..

Scrap arond the world has such an awesome moodboard this month, I had to make a LO inspired by it! I love bright colors, flowers and butterflies...

Ik heb er deze vrolijke LO van gemaakt, met een foto gemaakt in onze vakantie:

Canvas

Hallo allemaal,

Het is alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik iets geplaatst heb, ik ben de afgelopen maand druk geweest met het één en ander te veranderen in mijn huis. Zonder het te weten bleek het moodboard van Scrap around the world wel heel erg bij mijn eigen nieuwe kleurenschema te passen...

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted something here. I've been busy with changing the colors in my living room. I noticed that my new colors are very much like the boodboard of Scrap around the world..

Wat vind ik dit een gaaf bord! Daarom heb ik een nieuwe canvas voor aan de muur gemaakt, met als thema strand.

I really love this board!! That's why I made an new canvas for the livingroom with it, with a beachtheme.

Ik heb er een mixed media canvas van gemaakt, met als basis verf, modeling paste, dylusions, gesso, brusho en inka gold. Verder heb ik een restje van mijn nieuwe tafelkleed verwerkt, en veel natuurlijke materialen als jute, touw en natuurlijk de schelpen. Een paar bloemetjes en dewdrops geven nog wat extra kleur.

I made a mixed-media project, with paint, modeling paste, dylusions, gesso, brusho and inka gold on the base. I also used a peace of my new tablecloth which was leftover, and many natural materials like burlap, twine and ofcourse the seashells. A few flowers and dewdrops give it some extra color.

Lente! Eindelijk! Ondanks het druilerige weer hier had ik echt zin om een vrolijke LO te maken. Het moodboard van Scrap around the world was hiervoor de inspiratie:

Spring! At last! It is still a little bad weather right here, but I was totally in the mood for a very bright LO. I used the moodboard of Scrap around the world for some inspiration:

Ik hou van blauw en geel, dus ben even los gegaan met deze kleuren! Gecombineerd met hout en touw is het dit geworden:

I love blue and yellow together, so I went to rock and roll with it! I combined it with some twine and wood for the natural look of the moodboard:

Een stansje en een stempel maken het af. Met deze LO wil ik ook graag meedoen met de scrapuitdaging 21 van Cards and Scrap: textuur. Met modeling paste, gesso en Inka Gold heb ik op de ondergrond verschillende texturen gemaakt. Maar ook door de doily's en embellishments heeft mijn LO verschillende texturen gekregen.

A die and a stamp to finish this LO. I also want to entry the challenge of Card and Scrap: texture. I used different techniques to make some textures on my LO.

I also want to enjoy the challenge of Mixed Media Place, typography. I made this LO inspired on the quote I used..

Airole

Hallo allemaal,

Toen ik het moodboard van Scrap around the World van november zag, moest ik hier iets mee doen. Ik vind hem prachtig, de kleuren en de materialen...

Daarom heb ik het ter inspiratie gebruikt voor een LO van een foto 2004, van de kerktoren van Airole waar we op vakantie waren.

When I saw the moodboard of Scrap around the World this month, I really wanted to do something with it. I love it, the colors, the materials used... 

So I made a LO of a picture made in 2004. We were on holiday in Airole and made this picture of the churchtower.

Dit is mijn uitwerking:

This is my entry:

Ik heb roze muziekpapier als basis gebruikt, samen met wat restjes van BoBunny. De planken achter de foto zijn gestempeld en uitgeknipt. De roosjes heb ik met dylusions, pearl mist en glimmer mist in verschillende kleuren gespoten. Verder heb ik op de achtergrond nog wat spetters en doily's gestempeld.

I used some pink paper with musicnotes as basic, with some little pieces of design paper by BoBunny. The shelves behind the picture is a stamp. I sprayed the roses in differtent colors with dylusions, glimmer mist and pearl mist ans stamped some grunges and doily's at the background.

Dat was het eerst weer, bedankt voor het kijken, ik zou het leuk vinden als je een reactie achterlaat. Tot snel!
